The 1999 CCF-CWRU-OSU Statistics Symposium will be held at
Case Western Reserve University,
Cleveland, Ohio, on May 13, 1999. Although the symposium series has had a
long history, previously involving
Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology, Cleveland Clinic
Foundation, Department of
Epidemiology and Biostatistics , Case Western Reserve University, and
Department of Statistics,
Ohio State University, it is only the second meeting since
Department of Statistics,
Case Western Reserve University began to participate. The theme of the 1999
Symposium is "Looking forward to Year 2000" to mark
the imminent new millennium. The Symposium is
co-sponsored by Department of Statistics and Department of Epidemiology
and Biostatistics at Case Western Reserve University.
The keynote speaker of the Symposium is Prof.
Bruce G. Lindsay , Department of Statistics, Pennsylvania
State University. The invited speakers are
